Summary
From an outsider’s perspective, it would seem as though they’d both moved on. That they had both licked their wounds and broke their patterns of over-dependency. Of course, romantic feelings don’t disappear just because one thinks they should, or that they have to. But George had truly healed; he was no longer sad about their failed relationship, he was able to spend time with Sapnap normally again — whether it be the occasional call in comfy-chat or the days-long video recordings — and it didn’t hurt anymore. He was just glad they were able to go back to being friends.
