Nie Huaisang and Jiang Cheng learn about it with each other's company and presence. That there's still hope, that they can heal with time and care, that they can find in each other the brothers they had lost... or even something deeper and loving than that.
A story about healing, redeption, forgiving and giving love while feeling loved again, in the aftermath of times of downfall.

“Hm, what is this for, my friend?” Iroh asked, grinning as he placed a tile in an empty space that deemed his victory.
Piandao grunts, then leaned back on his chair. "How did you know they’d click?”
Iroh shrugged, taking his pieces back and setting the board up once again for another round. “Instinct is a thing you build from constantly being surrounded by college students with hopeless romanticism, my friend,” he said, as he watched Piandao placed the last tile on his setup. "So, when is their next date?"
Piandao sighs once again, and moved his tile first. "Well, I hope it's not during their midterms."
