Vex slowly draws her bow as she hears the sound of quick and uneven footfalls far off on dry forest floor.
She sees the creature she’s hunting at a distance. It’s dark enough that the world is melting into darkvision monochrome, but she can see that the monster wears a coat, that it’s in a terrible hurry, and that it’s limping.
Vampires generally aren’t known for holding onto wounds. It was injured in the last minute or so—Vex isn’t the only one after the bounty.
Vex nocks a holy arrow. She should take it out quick, one shot, so she doesn’t need to rush in with a silver dagger and make things messy. She’s so much better with a bow.

Summary
For generations, the Three King’s Quest was used to decide Exegol’s next reigning king. The rules were as such. Each prince had until the eve of the next full moon to find three quest items to bring back that would prove their worthiness. The first item was a large amount of gold. The second was a mystical artifact whose powers would help benefit the kingdom. And lastly, they had to find a wife of royal lineage willing to become their queen. That was how it had been for ages, and that’s how everyone always thought it would be.
With her kingdom stuck in eternal darkness, it's up to Reynella, the first-ever princess born into the house of Palpatine, to go on an epic quest to prove she is worthy of becoming queen and breaking the long-standing curse over Exegol. Along the way, she comes across the castle of Kylo Ren, a mysterious enchanter who has both the gold and treasures she needs to complete her quest. He is also keeping a prince captive as well that Reynella plans to liberate and marry. However, not everything is as it seems. Can she rescue the prince, earn her treasures, and make it back home in time to help her kingdom?
