Summary
It had taken her almost the entirety of the two years they were apart to get over him. Sometimes, she wondered if she ever would be completely, or if some small part of her was destined to love him for the rest of her life. Spending time with him as a friend was bound to blow up in her face at some point or other. There was also so much history between them to untangle, the years that they spent loving each other, and years they spent completely apart. If they really were going to reconnect and try to be in each other's lives, she knew there were some difficult conversations to be had. Things they avoided talking about even when they were still together and pretending everything was okay between them.
