Summary
*This story is a stand-alone story, all stories in this series are stand-alones*
He was three steps away when he heard it.
"—and how is that even POSSIBLE?" He recognized the voice immediately. Tim. And he sounded... not good.
Jason should have left. Should have just aborted the mission and come back another time when Tim wasn't around. That was the smart play. The tactical play. But curiosity was a bitch, and Jason found himself moving toward the sound instead of away from it. He peered around the doorframe and saw Tim in his office, pacing like a caged animal with at least five empty coffee cups scattered across his desk. The kid looked like he hadn't slept in a week. Maybe longer.
Oh, for fuck's sake.

Summary
Jason Todd dies with a batarang in his throat.
And in the Nothingness of where he wakes up, Death tells a story and offers a choice.
Of course he says yes. The weight of half a universe is nothing to scoff at, and now it lies on him.
No pressure.

Omggggggggg, the way I’m actually praying for this one to continue. I’m not even joking, I want it so baaad.
I literally stared in disbelief when the last chapter got updated, I should be grateful that at least it got finished but I’m greedy and I can’t help but hope for more. I want to see him become an avenger, damn it!😭

"You're stopping," she says. It's not a question.
Jason realizes that it doesn't need to be. You don't ask the sun if it will rise in the morning. Some things just are.

Summary
Jason Todd came back wrong. He knows it, they know it—hell, even the city seems to know it. But the boy who came back with him, the ghost of the fifteen-year-old he used to be, doesn’t seem to care. Bright-eyed and full of wonder, the kid shadows Jason like a younger brother, like a memory that never learned how to leave.
He’s the reason Jason stayed. The reason he tried.
But when a spell gives that ghost a body—makes him real—the Batfamily is forced to choose: the damaged son who clawed his way out of the grave, or the golden boy they lost. And Jason already knows the answer.
Now there are two Jasons in Gotham, but only one the family calls home.
And the other?
Well—ghosts aren’t meant to linger.
