Summary
Lomedy had been working at the flower shop for a while now. It was a nice job for the most part, except for seeing the flowers wilt after some of his coworkers forget to help them. (He's began to realize that it only makes it worse for himself if he reports it to his boss.)
But recently, names that are known throughout the city have been coming to his workplace. It doesn't matter if they are heroes, villains, or vigilantes.
Lomedy- he notices patterns. It's what helps for his job as well. Noticing things makes it easier for Lomedy to gauge their mood or help them with the troubling matter of picking out flowers. Everyone is just a customer in his eyes when they're at his flower shop. And who would he be if he turns down his customers?

Summary
“Lomedy,” Flame gasps, gathering him up in his arms and then feeling his heart drop at how limp and lifeless and cold his best friend is. Glassy golden eyes shift slightly to land on him and that transforms the situation from incomprehensible, impossible agony to simply very very bad.
“Whuh…?” Lomedy mutters. What a beautiful, awful sound. What a stupid thing for him to say. First thing in months; first thing in fifteen, twenty battles of this traitor standing at Lettuce’s side in white-and-gold like a fucking trophy, dead silent except for his blank, mindless stare—and he gets "whuh."
