Summary
They’ve won. They have, indisputably, won. They’ve gotten the happy ending – or, as Henry would like to think, gotten the beginning of the journey to a lifetime of happiness with Alex by his side. Now, with the both of them riding on a high of a win for Alex, he’s getting a look at Alex’s beginning, a tour of his childhood family home in Texas where Henry can so clearly see how it’s shaped Alex into becoming who he is.
Perhaps he shouldn’t be, but he’s still caught unawares – but joyfully so – when Alex manages to surprise him once more with yet another first.
