“... Wait, really?” Jesse asks slowly and sees the tension in Gabe’s shoulders like the older man is gonna change his mind, “No, no, okay-”
He kicks off his boots and crawls onto the bed until he’s kneeling next to Gabe’s hip.
“How do you want me to… Uh-?”
“Don’t hurt yourself,” Gabe mutters, trying not to brace as Jesse’s calloused fingers barely ghost over the tip of one of his wings, “Or me.”

In his waking horror, he realized as he ruined the very pajamas still crumpled from his grip, he wanted to be dominated by Superman. The very thought made him sick to his stomach, repulsed by his own subconscious and so thoroughly turned on it made his back arch involuntarily. So much power wasted on stomach-churning kindness, the capabilities of a god borne to a man that dressed in primary colors with his underwear on the outside of his leotard.
Months of incidents. Excuses to get close, be pinned or shoved or even once stiff-armed. And to the sticky, molten delight in the pit of Lex’s stomach it started to work.
And Clark? He’s not sure if he should feel guilty over just how little guilt he feels. Lex wants something from him. He wants something from Lex. Does the arrangement still work when the asking price raises?

Three days since he and Boba Fett agreed that Din should stay there for the time being, to help protect the town against any other spice runners that wanted to cause trouble. Three days, since Din saw again the lengths that Marshal Cobb Vanth would go to in order to keep his people safe; three days since Din had helped Marshal Vanth put a group of forward scouts for the Syndicate down.
Three days, since Din watched Vanth crush a Pyke’s chest under his boot. Three days, since the Marshal – transcendent and dazzling in his simmering wrath – ground that Pyke’s face into the sand with that same boot.
It’s been three days since Din wished, foolishly, fervently, that it were him under Vanth’s boot.

He's got Logan on his back, his blood is dripping into Logan's mouth, and the maniac grins, this ferocious, alight sort of smile, and right before Wade gets shot straight through the roof of the van, he swears that he can hear a low, steady rumble somewhere under all the wet sounds of blood-soaked breaths and angered growls.
Since people don't purr, he's actually pretty sure it's a rattling wheeze; a horrible wet asthmatic sound because Wade has a knife in his lung, but that doesn't mean he's not going to be an asshole about it.
"Aw, listen to that, is kitty purring?" Wade jeers, twisting his knife in Logan's chest. "Kitty's happy to get put in his place?"
(In which people from Logan's universe have some interesting traits.)

Two new trainers arrive at the stables: Halsin, a natural horsemanship trainer, and Gale, a dressage trainer. Astarion’s pissed. He worked his ass off to become an established dressage trainer here, and now he has competition on top of dealing with his asshole client, Cazador Szarr.
Gale’s starting afresh after a nasty divorce from his ex, Mystra. He’s already stressed and nervous enough about moving to a new stable, but now he has a trainer that hates him.
Halsin’s moved stables after taking on an apprentice, and is pleasantly surprised to find two very attractive trainers there, despite them being at each others’ throats. Can he apply his gentle practices and help them get along?

“Well, an angel’s wings are… sensitive. You of all people should know that.” Sweat trickled down his neck in anticipation, the small, humid room adding to the feeling of despair in his gut. Concrete bricks surrounded him, trapping him in a foolproof cage with the other.
“What dae ye mean, ‘me of all people’? Ye think I’ve interacted with an angel before?” This question prompted a chuckle from the other, eyeblack clouding his face as he leaned over. Hands reached up, scratching the back of his neck in anxiety. Sweat gathered under his fingernails.
Ghost, on the other hand, was calm. He eventually sat up straight again, leaned forward as if to catch Soap’s every breath. His strong, defined hands were neatly folded in his lap, the definition of cautious and formal. It was frightening.
“I wouldn’t suggest such a thing. You know the dangers of being acquainted with such a powerful being. What they could do.” It was said with a lilt of tease, like Ghost knew something Soap didn’t know he did. Like he knew something Soap didn’t want him to. “Or how they would tempt you?”
