Summary
It’d been a week or so since his escape from the Dursleys, and Mr Lupin(“call me Remus”) hadn’t stopped being nice. Harry didn’t understand. The Dursleys had never pretended for this long, never when they were alone. They’d barely bothered to act nice to him in front of the neighbourhood(“such a delinquent, just like his parents”) or his teachers(“you know he bullies our Dudley at home, can’t be too lenient with him”). But Mr Lupin had said his parents were heroes, and he hadn’t lied about Harry’s new room, or how much food he’d be allowed, or anything else. Yet. He’d just been… nice. No one stayed nice to Harry.
