“What did that kid just call you?” Michikatsu paused, his eyes darting to Yoriichi’s. What the hell did he just hear that child say? He glared at the kid next to Yoriichi, that was also holding Yoriichi’s forearm. What the hell?
“Is there something the matter, Aniue?” Yoriichi questioned as he rests a hand on the child’s, Genjitsu’s hair, ruffling it slightly.
Michikatsu took a deep breath and glared at his little brother again, “Did that kid just call you Otouto?”
“Yes, he did,” Yoriichi confirmed as he patted Genjitsu next to him as if it was not a problem.

In other words-Michikatsu never realized his very own enemy would be a child, let alone, he never realized he’d be fucking jealous of a child.
He officially realizes he hates kids, maybe that’s why he left his.
