Grimwalkers are often regarded as horrifying beasts, there’s a reason their creation is outlawed.
Now most people argue that these creatures are harmless and that the rumors of their nature are completely false.
They’re wrong.
or: Grimwalkers are nothing like witches, they are genuinely beast demons. When in the human realm, these traits are more prone to come out. (all of my grimwalker headcannons)

Summary
Long before Hunter had even met Belos, he lived in a city rampant of wild magic and sin.
He didn’t remember much of it now, and truthfully Hunter didn’t know how he ended up there in the first place, now knowing his origins. Perhaps he escaped the castle as a child, kidnapped, or maybe Belos tossed him out on the streets to let him learn first hand how awful the isles were.However it came to be about, Hunter spent the first 5 years of his life in what was now known as Old Latissa.
The streets were rampant with stained glass, devoid of sun in the underground, and plenty of witches and demons attempting to steal your snails, and your teeth.
However wretched it sounded, it was home. Even after the. Incident, Hunter loved flying over New Latissa, however different it may be. Of course, The Emperor could never know that, lest he sever Hunters head.
New Latissa was almost nothing like Old Latissa, but it had the faint whispers of his former home.
So running through the alleys with a human trailing him, was oddly nostalgic.
