Summary
“Lucy!” He called, and immediately took her all in as he pushed the door aside, stopping in his tracks.
There she stood, drenched from head to toe on the entryway rug. Her fringe was plastered to her face, the longer tendrils of hair steadily dripping with droplets of rainwater. Her once light blue shirt was now darkened and plastered to her midsection, fuzzy droplets of rain clinging to her leggings.
She cut quite an intimidating figure just then. Intimidating and yet pitiful all the same; that paradoxical mixture of soft and hard that only Lucy was able to perfectly embody.
Her face was the picture of righteous fury: eyes blazing, nostrils flaring, brows crinkled indignantly as thin rivulets ran languidly down her face, stippling her eyelashes and highlighting her lips, harshly downturned in sulky speechlessness.
Not long after Lucy’s return to the company, Lockwood grapples with his fears and his feelings for her. When she gets caught out in the rain and chased home by a spectral swan, this unintentionally leads to a revelation that changes the course of their relationship forever.
This contains HEAVY BOOK SPOILERS—for literally all of the L&C books!!

Summary
Lucy had come to some realizations and had accepted three truths in particular when it came to Lockwood.
Number one, she had had a crush on him since practically the moment she met him. Number two, in the half-decade since then, that crush had grown into something much stronger, something embedded in her very being.
Number three, nothing had ever come of it, and she doubted anything ever would.
Or the trio has officially decided to close down the agency and Lucy makes some assumptions

“Lucy. I’ll make you ravioli. It’s not about the money. I’ll make it fresh. Please, just put it back,” George despaired.
“Really? Proper stuff?” I was suddenly listening.
“Yes, the good stuff,” George nodded. “I’ll even make the sauce too.”
“Ok. Deal. Shall we grab the ingredients?” I was as happy as a clam.
George trotted off toward the fresh pasta. As talented a cook as he was, I don’t think his culinary prowess stretched to making actual pasta from scratch.
“I could make pasta for you,” Lockwood offered out of nowhere, taking up trolley pushing duties and we went up another aisle.
