i love how Yellow is written in this, but more importantly i love Anathra. his support, helping Yellow find common ground, the emphasis that even if he's friends with Summertime he wants to be friends with Yellow too, giving him the option if he wants visor-on Anathra to remember who he is or not.. augh. it's very sweet. i love the previous fic in this series as well but this one especially needs to go in my bookmarks bc im going to be thinking about it for a long time.

He doesn’t think about the people he left inside a video game after promising he’d get them out. It was just too painful, and at one point, it felt like it became too late to go back. He eventually forgot about the box that he stored the VR headset away in all those years ago, collecting dust and waiting for him to return.
Well, maybe he can’t entirely forget it, but he’s done a damn good job of ignoring it.
