i think this shall be named as one of the most ‘what-the-fuck-is-going-on’ and ‘im-fucking-crying-and-screaming’ and ‘this-is-so-damn-cute’ fic EVER to grace the zutara fandom?!?!
oh, my lovelies were so stupid but so, so lovable at the same time. i love the ‘katara’s kids are secretly zuko’s’ plotline SO DAMN MUCH, if it weren’t for the fact that to make it in the first place the fic needs to be so angsty, it would have been in my top 3, AHHAGAHSGQUAGQU MY LOVESSSSS

"Wait, what!?" Zuko shoots up into a sitting position, the blanket pooling around his waist."
(Or, Zuko and Katara are in bed and he's out like a light - he rises with the sun, she rises with the moon, right? It's Katara that keeps prodding him awake, asking him ridiculous questions about their future, and Zuko sleepily plays along - until one question catches him completely off guard).

Zuko has resigned himself to a dull, loveless arranged marriage for the good of his nation.
