It was cold, Damian sat on one of the stools at the kitchen aisle and minuscule shivers wracked through his body.
Damian shivered as Ivy’s pollen gradually took effect, ice plunging in his heart, freezing water replacing the warm blood he rationally knew was still travelling through his veins.
Or: Damian gets a face full of Ivy's pollen but doesn't tell anyone. Too bad there's someone who notices anyway.

Jason could feel the broken ribs that were perforating his left lung, and he knew better than anyone that his lung would soon collapse; if Batman didn't come in time, Jason would inevitably perish, it was as simple as that. Jason held no delusions that the Joker would let him go after going through all the trouble he went through to find him.
Jason could hear his own bones breaking and breaking again.
