Summary
The truth is, it’s been a little difficult to be around Hongjoong these past few months. In a way, it’s Seonghwa’s own fault, for wanting things he can’t have and getting his hopes up over and over again, just to have them crushed like a dry, brittle leaf in the palm of his hand, looking as the dust flies away with the wind. He slings his leg across Nicholas’s lap, as if that will help him sap some of Nicholas’s personality off of him. Unbothered by things like the clock. Nicholas’s hand drops to Euijoo’s thigh, fingers curled around the pit of his knee. He rubs Euijoo’s leg idly, tapping his phone with his other hand.
It’s working, Euijoo thinks. The knots in his chest loosen up a bit. The more time he spends entangled with Nicholas, the better he becomes at seeing his life as a whole picture rather than minute details and tasks to complete.
