The hospital heart rate monitor beeped relentlessly, yet Tenn couldn’t complain. That consistent, even rhythm meant that his brother was still clinging on. Still breathing, still waiting for the right time to wake up. The doctors said that after seven years of being stuck in this coma, there really wasn’t much hope of him waking up and being mentally sound.
