Clarke Griffin is the last omega on the Ark. In his attempt to save his daughter from a life of servitude, Jake Griffin does something that gets him floated and Clarke thrown into solitary confinement. Clarke isn't sure how it happens, but she gets sent to Earth with the other delinquents from the Ark's prison, the Skybox. As soon as they crash to the ground, half of the 100 are killed and the others captured. Clarke now finds herself in a situation where speaking out will get her killed...or worse.

Summary
Lexa is struggling as the sole owner of the family farm. First she lost her father and then, when the war began, she lost all the farmhands to the cause. Now the war is over, but help isn't returning - no one wants to work for a woman, that is, until she meets Clarke.
Having Clarke's help brings relief, but also its own set of problems when Lexa starts to fall for the beautiful blonde because not only is the love taboo, it's also illegal.

Being dead isn't that bad. At least Clarke doesn't think so. She is stuck as a ghost in a cemetery, but she doesn't mind. It's pretty, she can watch and listen when people come to visit, and she can enjoy the seasons as they go by. She is fine with everything in her afterlife...usually.
Lexa comes to visit nearly every other day. As a ghost Clarke is limited in how she can let her presence be known, but with Lexa, she always tries. She tries to make her smile, and she tries to make her laugh, but one day when Lexa confesses something she shouldn't, Clarke's afterlife changes forever.

Across space and worlds far and wide existed Empire, the Gestalt of Mankind past and present, its reach unstoppable, its power unending, and its origins lost to the echoes of time. With power concentrated in the birthplace of Mankind, the will of Empire was communicated across the galaxy by the Imperial Edict, representatives that spoke for Empire directly. Hand in hand with the Imperial Edict was the Imperial Militum, whose enforcement of Empire’s control was as deadly as it was fanatical. It’s thirst for destruction immense, its obedience to the Empire unquestionable.
But when threats to the Empire arose that not even the Imperial Militum could contain? Or when the Imperial Edict of Empire itself was ignored by traitorous worlds who deemed themselves above Empire?
Examples needed to be made and Empire’s vengeance demanded it be quenched without failure.
So existed an honoured, feared few, considered directly controlled by Empire themselves. Their power was considered otherworldly, their will unbreakable and their devotion to duty unshakeable.
In their wake they would leave nothing but destruction for the traitorous. But for the lost yet ever devoted? The loyal and always faithful? Salvation.

Lexa hadn't been doing a very good job of hiding the fact that she's been blazing a trail through the girls in their senior class, and that definitely wasn't the kind of attention she should be drawing to herself.
Clarke was certain Lexa's parents had given her the same speech she'd gotten from her mom about "fitting in" and not drawing attention to their more wolfish qualities.
If they were going to attend a human high school, it was essential that they blend in.
And as Clarke well knew, as all werewolves knew, flaunting their wolfish sex appeal risked attracting the attention of the villagers with their pitchforks, and provoking the endless moralizing that humans used to justify their prejudices and mask their jealousy.
Every little misstep from Lexa felt like a personal slight. A risk that they would be outed to their classmates. And the last thing anyone needed was for the people in this town to discover that they were just miles away from two giant werewolf clans.
