Summary
Phoenix Wright was visiting him in the hospital, which was both oddly charming and decisively unnecessary. He’d only been there overnight, and had already gotten the thumbs up to leave in an hour or two.
“Can’t believe you of all people would get attacked by dogs.” Wright was saying, dragging a hand through his spiky hair in bewilderment. He was leaning back into what Miles knew by experience had to be an extremely uncomfortable hospital chair.
“Just the one dog.” Miles said cooly, picking boredly at the bandages wrapped around his right forearm.
When Miles gets attacked by a rabid dog one night, he starts to go through some unexpected changes.
Thankfully, Phoenix is there to help him through them.

Summary
On a stormy night in Gotham, Bruce's parents appear out of thin air, torn from the past. Between their sudden appearance, his children's insistence on meeting them, and having to explain the kind of man he's become, Bruce is not handling it well.
On top of that, there is now a very real possibility that he'll have to come out to his parents. Bruce never imagined he'd ever get the chance—especially not in his mid-thirties—and now that he does, he's terrified.
"What happened?" he asks, smoothing a bandage over Bruce's stitches with careful, practiced movements. His hands are heavy. Warm. "What made you choose this?"
And Bruce is—he's tired, and he's hurting, rubbed raw with simmering grief and overwhelm. Thomas stands over him, close enough to touch, caring for him in ways Bruce has only ever dreamt of for the past twenty-five years.
Bruce sighs, quiet and aching and worn. "You died," he confesses. He'd never really been able to lie to his father.

Summary
Fae normally did not conform to logic, let alone the nature of truth and justice. Granted, fae normally know they’re fae, and aren’t in some kind of self denialistic state as to their own existence.
Shinichi Kudo is an outlier, as always.
