Summary
After months of being stuck in Heaven, Aziraphale wants nothing more than to go home— to Earth, to his bookshop, and most of all, to Crowley. He can’t just leave, though. Not only is Earth on the line with Heaven’s plans for the Second Coming, but should the Metatron suspect Aziraphale of working against the Host, Crowley will pay the price with his existence. So, desperate and a bit fed up, Aziraphale comes up with a plan. Which backfires. Horribly.
Now, Jesus Christ is dead, and if the Host finds out, it’s not just Aziraphale who will be in danger. Panicked, he runs to the only person he can trust. Only, Crowley wants absolutely nothing to do with him.
They have seven days to make Jesus Rise without Heaven finding out that He is dead. And they’re not talking. What could possibly go wrong?

first chapter is everything aziraphale asks crowley how to sleep. they hug. he yearns. just so soft and comforting. slow dancing. slow dancing. slow dancing. the intimacy is not overly sexual but so soft and pure. genuinely a balm to the soul after canon ending. so tender so healing. every single passage was worthwhile.

Apparently, Crowley has been in love with Aziraphale for the past six thousand years, give or take. This is fine. He’s determined to be normal about this whole thing, and to not clue the angel in question in on his rather inconvenient feelings. Things have been good for them since the apocalypse-that-wasn’t— the last thing he wants to do is screw that up.
And then the Bentley takes matters into her own hands. Or speakers, as it were.
