As the chains were draped around him at certain points the thick bracelets clapped around his wrists. They very clearly were made to be pulled on. He looked down at the clear interlocking mechanism on both of the wrist bands. A collar clicked shut around his neck and he could no longer delude himself.
Shinichi glared at Hakuba, “The next time you assure me that you're not trying to make me uncomfortable then put me in BDSM gear I'm going to kick you.”

Shinichi returned home after a particular heist. Something was bothering him. He sat down on a very comfortable arm chair, hands steepled in front of him. Their usual banter had taken an odd turn. Kaitou KID had been complimenting him recently. It wasn’t that he hadn’t been complemented before, but it felt different coming from him.
At first the compliments were probably just to throw him off. Because there was no way he actually meant them. But he definitely meant them. Shinichi backtracked a bit. The goal was definitely just to distract him. At least that was what he thought. But this heist was different. He had seen a teasing sharp look in KID’s eye, not the calculating one he expected.
