Wade's fingertips slide up to the base of the exposed claws, where tender skin is healed fast around cooling metal. Draws the pads of his fingers carefully along either plane of one claw, stroking the skin there, and Logan draws a sharp breath.
Wade stills. "That hurt?"
Logan shakes his head, and Wade keeps going. Presses a little harder; feels Logan's fingers twitch.
Holy fuck, this is doing something for him.

Logan blinks a couple of times as Wade's words register and a hint of amusement seeps into his smile. "Yer joking, right? I'm not gonna—"
"I won't bite—unless you're into that sort of thing. Then, well... I'm pretty sure I can do that."
"Yer impossible," Logan grunts and crosses his arms, but there's no heat in his words. "Guess I'm gonna sleep on a goddamn unicorn bed. My life is a fucking joke," he adds to himself, but there's no anger in his tone.

Is it particularly healthy for Wade's mental health to constantly be around someone who he not only wants to pound into the shitty pullout couch mattress until it breaks, but also, and more alarmingly, actually wants to cuddle and be couple-y with? No, probably not. But it's a situation he'll happily accept for now and deal with the inevitably terrible consequences for later. What's that saying? Something about burning a bridge when he crosses it?

Part of Logan almost thinks it would be easier if Wade was only like this with Vanessa, at least then Logan could just hate Vanessa in a jealous rage. But no, neither Logan nor Vanessa are special in this and Vanessa is actually really nice, so hating her is definitely out of the question. That's probably not a particularly healthy thought to be having. And Logan has definitely been staring at Wade for too long. And Laura has definitely noticed.Or: 5 times Logan compliments Wade + 5 times Wade flirts with Logan + 1 time they both believe it's real.
