Sherlock leans in and rests his chin against his hand, as if attempting to corner the reporter, “So tell me then, how’d you do it?”
“Oh, I have my ways, Mr Holmes,” William responds, not shying away for a moment.

It was safe to say, not many students enjoyed spring, but for Al-haitham, he felt no different. Whether it were winter deadlines, summer internships or any other university related activities, Al-haitham didn’t often feel the academic pressure most of his peers had. Instead, he was organised, kept to a strict schedule, and planned and wrote his essays in a reasonable time frame, rather than cramming a 2000 word essay within hours of a deadline.
So, “It’s unusual for you to be studying late at the library, Al-haitham,” a voice pulled him away from his work. It was Kaveh, grinning as he so helpfully pointed out. He wasn’t wrong — Al-haitham had made it a rule not to study beyond 7pm, yet here he was, spotted by Kaveh in the library at 11pm.

“You- what- I-” Kaveh sputtered. His eyes widened in confusion and shock. Al-Haitham smirked, amusement bubbling at the sight of his bafflement. He turned to the coffee machine.
“It would seem the excessive indulgence in wine has finally caught up to you,” he teased while moving Kaveh’s blueprint aside for his mug.

Summary
To say Kaveh was confused would be an understatement. Concerned, disturbed, worried, anxious, whatever choice of lexicon did not change the situation, nor did it change Kaveh’s current dilemma.
“I don't know, Kaveh,” Tighnari questioned, “are you sure it's really that serious?” a face of doubt.
“Absolutely!” the blond placed his glass of wine back down, harsher than warranted. Per their usual routine, both Tighnari and Kaveh had decided to share a few drinks at the tavern tonight.
