Huaisang blinks a few times, before realising Jiang Wanyin is still holding him by the hand. “Ah, I’m fine now, you can let go, Jiang-xiong. Thank you.”
But Jiang Wanyin doesn’t let go, nor does he say anything in response. He simply stares down at their interlinked hands, a look of disbelief and horror slowly etching onto his face.
“Jiang-xiong…?” Nie Huaisang tilts his head, wondering if he’d done something to offend the other boy.
“I can’t,” Jiang Wanyin says finally, teeth gritted and brow furrowed.
“Huh?” Huaisang blinks again. He’s been doing that a lot lately. “You can’t what?”
