AU pp3 ending where Theo/Khaled chose Emily as the competition winner instead of Beca. Panicking because she hasn’t written/completed a song since freshman year, Emily begs them to hire Beca as a producer so they can work together. (Because Theo is still a simp for Beca in this universe, he's like sure why not.)
Yes this also means Emily was the one who had to team up with Fat Amy to save all the Bellas on the boat and yes Amy roasted her the entire time.

Last year I put the prompt for "I promise to sing to you (when all the music dies)" under its own title in hopes of extending it to a full-blown multi-chap fic....but that never happened. Now it's back with a vengeance!! Enjoy this 8-part sequel in conjunction with Bemily Week 2019 — to my surprise as much as anyone's, all 8 of these stories make sense in the context of this AU, follow a semi-present plot, and amazingly is chronological, so. Miracles happen, I guess?
