Summary
"Im happy we met."
He doesn't say you changed me the way you're changing the world. He doesn't say that tagging along with their group is the closest he's ever come to belonging. He doesn't say they're the only family he knows.
He just smiles and presses a beaded necklace into Aang's hand.

Summary
In the aftermath of Sherlock’s jump, John isn’t the only one who misses him. He’s a doctor, after all, and can’t help but notice when someone isn’t taking care of himself, and that’s not what Sherlock would have wanted, is it? So he does what he can to offer comfort … not knowing that Mycroft is keeping a secret.
But that’s all right. John is also.

Summary
Sherlock and John are arranged as such:
John’s bed forms a frame around them. Them, both of them, because they are both in the bed, because two hours ago Sherlock brought home Chinese takeaway.
John and Sherlock are naked. Completely naked, clothes strewn over the floor and twisted in with the disorderly bedsheets like mangled intestines, because two hours ago Sherlock brought home Chinese takeaway, because Sherlock was an impossible git.Series

Summary
Water dripped from the ceiling.
Water dripped from the ceiling insofar as that water dripped from the ceiling tiles, which were located in pieces on the floor.
Sherlock stood, brushing dust from himself, brushing the ceiling from himself, and looked beneath him and saw his own unconscious—no, dead—body, on the ceiling.
Rewind.
The ceiling gathered back together, coagulated thirty feet above him, spat water back out into the pool as it gathered up tendrils of itself back into the depths.John supposed this wasn’t a surprising night for Sherlock’s mind to conjure up something horrific. John hadn’t gone to sleep, for similar reasons—had just laid in bed, reading, until Sherlock barged in.

Summary
“John,” he pulled himself into a sitting position to face John. “How many times have you seen me eat outside this flat?”
John leaned back thoughtfully. “Well, I…” He tilted his head. “Huh.” John scooted forward in his chair, leaning over his knees to look Sherlock in the eye. “Why?”
“It’s more comfortable.”
“Is that it? You starved yourself of a nice hot dinner at Angelo’s so that you could sit on the sofa while you eat?”
“That’s not it.”
Sherlock never eats at restaurants when he and John go out -- not even when he's not on a case.

Summary
“I’m sorry,” John sighed. “That was…well. You didn’t exactly get the perfect flatmate either.” They didn’t talk about the shouts in the middle of the night, or of the broken dishes in the trash can the next morning after John came down for a glass of water with a shaky hand.

Summary
“You know, for being married, you and your Work seem to have a pretty on-again, off-again relationship."
"Yes. I’d say it’s grounds for divorce, wouldn’t you?”
“If it’d mean less collateral damage to the flat, I’m all for it.” He pulled up the newspaper and had a glance over it. “But you do strike me as a bit of a kept man. Hope you’ve got a secret lover ready to snatch you up and take care of you.”
Sherlock could have said, “I might, if you’d like to keep me.” But instead, he asked, “Do you have any opinions on bees?”
...In which John stitches up Sherlock's head (but not really), Sherlock comes into John's room at night to take his laptop (but not really), Sherlock is married to his Work (but not really), and John is more than proficient at keeping Sherlock (really, definitely).

Summary
For more than three decades, John Watson and the written word had been the best and closest of friends. Even when he hadn’t been writing himself, he had immersed himself in works by other people—anyone from Marcus Aurelius, to Dickens, to Jasper Fforde.
And then, he’d been shot.
How a bullet through his shoulder had left him bereft of words, he didn’t know.

Summary
He couldn’t decide if it was a relief or a curse that he’d been left completely, absolutely alone. He didn’t exactly regret the complete lack of torture, but that would at least have given him something to fight. You couldn’t fight darkness with your fists, and no matter how strong your will-power, it could be beaten down by the constant monotony of nothingness. Nobody needed John Watson any more. He could dwindle away here in the dark as well as in the flat, anyway. Because really, what difference did it make? There was nobody to miss him. Not even him.

Summary
A voice came from the other side of the room. “You know, if you ate more often, this sort of thing wouldn’t happen. I can’t let you out of my sight for a minute, can I?” Sherlock froze at the familiar voice. No. It wasn’t possible. John, sitting in the lumpy armchair in the corner and smiling at him with that combination of affection and disappointment that was uniquely John’s.
He stared at him, flogging his unusually sluggish brain. There had been a knock on the door, and nobody knocked on his door. Nobody knew he was there. "How did you find me?"
Because--catching up is what you do with old friends.

Summary
The only warning he had was the flicker of the kid’s eyes as he glanced past John’s shoulder. He started to turn, but not quickly enough, not alertly enough. The mugger’s knife missed the stroke he wanted, but still slid under John’s ribs smoothly and suddenly John couldn’t think, couldn’t feel anything except the white-hot pain that radiated through his body, melting away any cohesion to his muscles.

Post-Reichenbach, all John really wants to do is clear his friend's name, but in the face of the press and all the skeptics, what can one, lone blogger do? Be Brave, of course.

Summary
After the trip to Buckingham Palace, Sherlock finds out that maybe John's family background was different than he'd thought.
A series of AUs where ONE fact gets changed and then everything else changes in its wake--all while keeping as much canon-compliance as possible (army doctor, invalided home, alcoholic sister, crime-solving with Sherlock). Most of them more or less take place between the Great Game and the ASIB Christmas party. Each can be read on its own, but (if only to keep track of my thought process) it's probably helpful to read them in sequence.
