Summary
Merlin, a fierce dragon, is captured and held prisoner in a deep cave under a castle. He believes he will perish, miserable and alone… until a second prisoner arrives. The man is small and annoying at first, but gradually they get to know each other, and soon enough the cave is almost tolerable.
Then the man escapes, and Merlin realises his whole world has been changed.

In order to learn about their new allies (and potential enemies), Merlin is tasked to impersonate a minor Lord in a foreign court.

Summary
The dreams begin five days after Merlin’s execution.
The dreams— colors and shapes made from the wreckages of Arthur’s memories, as meaningless as words like loyalty and friendship— begin with the gentle questioning of something uncertain of its own right to exist.
And Arthur answers the question the only way he can— with his mind turned away from the thoughts that filled him at night, facing the morning with nothing more than a frown and a promise not to think of his dream again.
There are more important things to face, anyway. Whatever his father has planned each day, it leaves no room for Arthur to think of petty things like a moment of a bad dream.

Arthur can't figure out why he's so perturbed to discover Merlin has a certain reputation in the castle. He takes it out on everyone, naturally. Gwen and Morgana give him pitying looks and dead legs, respectively, and Merlin ignores him until even he loses patience and demands to know why.

Summary
Merlin owns a coffee shop, which is also kind of a cover for a magic shop. When Arthur lose his jobs and a lot of other things, he finds himself in Merlin's coffee shop, which is... supposedly hiring, if the girl who just followed Merlin in the back is to be trusted. Arthur takes his chance.
It's very cliché, there's angst, but I can't for the life of me write something sad so it's an happy ending. I'm very bad at summary, but I swear the story is at least an average okay.

Merlin blushed and nodded.
"How soon do you think you'll be able to get away?" He asked softly.
Arthur's face curved into a soft smile. "Eager, are we?" He said, teasing.
"To get my hands on you? Very," Merlin said and it was Arthur's turn to blush.
"Soon," he said.

It is shortly after Arthur's coronation and he wants to bring magic back into the kingdom but is facing backlash. Morgana suggest the idea of finding the elusive Emrys in order to help the transition. However, of course Emrys doesn't want to be found.
AKA Arthur is trying to find his 'other half' and is done with his Knights and his feelings for Merlin who is not as stealthy as he likes to assume. Which is not helped by Morgana and her comments.
