“They said… you are the greatest swordsman in the world!” The boy stuttered out like it caused him physical pain to speak. Even at such a young age, his voice cracked and cried under strain.
“… that’s right, I am.” Mihawk merely confirmed. The child looked up at him, the welled tears now falling down his face darkening as they merged with dirt and soot on his cheeks.
“Please?” The boy whimpered out, barely able to get it out. His grip tightened.
“Train me. They told me you were the best. That you’d protect me. Please, train me.”------------------------------------------------------
Mihawk is the greatest swordsman in the world. He is married to the ex pirate Sir Crocodile. one day, he comes across a poor boy in an alleyway.

Dracule Mihawk was used to feeling exhausted since his early childhood spent with a sword in his hand, but nothing compared to his current state after starting this strange game with Akagami Shanks and Benn Beckman, happily married. Unless they were playing on his frayed nerves by flirting profusely and showering him with gifts, without ever giving him a single hope of being added to their relationship.
It was a shame for them, though, because Dracule Mihawk always wins, unless exhaustion is more fortunate...
