Ichiban glanced to his right to see Nanba wrapped up in the blanket, still nodding off to sleep. With a disapproving shake of his head, he suggested, "Maybe I'll take over for you today and make breakfast?"
"I'm gonna get up now."
Putting his knee forward, Ichiban turned and sat on the floor, resting. "I wouldn’t rush it, but I have to be at the office in half an hour."
"I'm getting up."
Ichiban reset the timer and started another rep. "And you'll be on duty for me this weekend."
Nanba groaned and stood up, promising himself that he would get enough sleep tonight.Or Nanba "Midlife Crisis" Yu is trying to put his life back together after burnout, losing his job and becoming homeless, but Ichiban "Ray of Sunshine" Kasuga gets in the way. The events of the story take place after the finale of LAD7.
