Sakura grumbles, shoulders hunching. Suo hums softly but doesn't reply until deceptively gentle hands settle at Sakura's shoulders, guiding him back into proper posture.
"Just play along for a bit. If you decide you hate it we can just do something else."
Suo assures, hands a steady weight. Sakura takes in a slow breath and nods, only slightly reluctant.
"Fine. Get it over with then."

“Keith,” he called out again, louder now. “Keith, —”
Keith stirred weakly.
A broken sound left his throat, somewhere between a groan and a breath. His head rolled slightly toward Lance, eyes fluttering open for half a second before slipping shut again. He was being half-dragged, half-carried by the Galran guards as he slipped in and out of consciousness. The blood dripped down from the wound on his head, past his eye and down to his chin.
Lance decided that he would do whatever he had to do to keep them together. They cannot get separated. Keith needs him. He can’t lose Keith.
“That’s it,” Lance said, voice shaking. “That’s it, okay? You’re doing great. Just—just keep breathing.”
Keith and Lance end up stranded on a planet after a mission goes wrong.
But that's only where their troubles begin.
Captured and tortured relentlessly, Keith finds something out about himself that shocks him to his core.
Terrified and delirious, Lance doesn't take it too well.

no one is surprised when enjin brings in kids to the cleaners. no one is surprised when he recruits and technically uses that as an excuse to adopt. it’s normal, not even rudo being a spherite was surprising.
but enjin being pregnant? the whole hq explodes.
and for once, enjin doesn’t know how to handle something.
