Summary
He’s about to be affronted by someone being so obnoxiously loud in the library, rightfully so, until he realizes the shouting wasn’t even from inside the library, but from the playground outside, simply shouted with such force and velocity that it managed to conquer even his sanctuary.
He looks out the window to determine the source of the commotion, and sees a boy about his age dangling off the monkey bars of the children’s playground outside, hands just too far from the ground to catch himself, jewelry and black suspenders and dark hair all hanging comically, hands flailing after a rapidly retreating figure.
Still slightly annoyed by the shouting, but sympathetic for the boy in his predicament, Remus opens the window and leans cautiously out.

Remus meets Sirius by chance at the library, and seems to keep bumping into him.

Summary
Remus swallows and relaxes. He doesn’t know what song is playing, and he really can’t hear it over the sound of his heartbeat. He doesn’t realize he’s speaking until he hears the sound of his own voice asking, “Can you hear my heart?”
Sirius tilts his head to the side curiously, and then he leans down to press his ear against Remus’ chest. He stays like that for a few seconds before pulling back. “It’s loud. And fast.”
“Yeah,” is all Remus can say.
Sirius takes one of Remus’ hands and places it on his chest. “So is mine.” And yeah, Remus can feel it hammering in his chest. He suddenly feels dizzy with want. What does he want?
