The fic felt like a balm to my soul. Idk how else to explain it except that it really felt like a warm hug and it’s a soup of everything I loved and didn’t know I would love.
Fake dating trope but they’re dating other people - a different kind of angsty but this fic packaged it so well it punches you in a different way and you’re left smiling with the bruise. Do you love the feeling of being in love or do you love him? What a way to figure it out.
The whole crew’s dynamic is perfect I love them all

Summary for myself (spoilers!):
College AU. Zoro fake dates Hiyori to protect her while her restraining order from Orochi is processed. Sanji’s world falls apart and he fake dates Nami to figure out if he loves Zoro or loves the feeling of being in love. There’s misunderstanding, pining, love in its softest form (taking care of each other in their own way - driving Zoro home despite a long day, making sure Sanji rests) and finally the revelation. It takes a while but they get there. -

The author nailed down Zosan to its core - it’s not all lovely dovely and they fight about it and are complete idiots but it somehow works out for them in the end. The crew in this is amazing and they come tgt to try to help Zosan through this mess. It’s a slow slow burn but the crew dynamic is so fun to read amidst all the miscommunication (or the lack of comm).
Spoiler summary:
Post-time skip Sanji is a bit more extra and Zoro notices the extra care into food and clothes and the cleaning so he tries to be nice to the cook to ‘even things out’ (dragged in Nami and Usopp for their opinions at a bar) but ended up avoiding him to avoid fighting. Sanji gets annoyed that Zoro’s avoiding him and their anger pent up into an explosive fight on the deck that wrecked it (Franky plots their murder). It takes a LONG time before they figure out why they feel so bothered by the other and Zoro blurts it out of the blue the second it clicked in his head while hanging off a cliff. Sanji grapples with Zoro’s definition of love (Zoro also had a hard time figuring it out himself) and they eventually finally worked it out after giving the crew a hard time. -

“This is stupid!” Perona announces as soon as they’re back at the dock. She doesn’t even wait for the boat to stop before she clamors out. “I hate this! I hate you! My nails are ruined! I have blisters! Your dumb boat is too small and it’s ugly!”
She stomps off before jumping into the air, intending to fly the rest of the way back to the castle. Her shriek echoes through the trees, scattering birds and humandrills alike.
OR: Mihawk is tired of being the only one capable of getting supplies off the island, so he decides to instruct Perona and Zoro on how to sail his ship so they can do it instead. Of course, nothing goes as planned.

A very good take on Mihawk’s character and his POV. It just feels so in character.
Summary:
Mihawk teaches Perona and Zoro how to sail - cue bickering, Mihawk trying to teach but realising he’s not a good teacher, Mihawk caring in his little ways, and how the trio finds a way to fit together. -

This is so sad it will break your heart a million times but it’ll be worth it because it’s a happy ending. It worth the journey. Author has such a way with words that you’re hooked on.
Summary with spoilers:
Harry is an Auror and Draco is in the ministry Law. Harry accidentally touches a ring that took him to a parallel universe where he and Draco were married and lived that life for 7 years only to come back to his actual world where him and Draco were colleagues at best. They messed around a bit but it gets sad because Draco felt like Harry was in love with another version of him. Cue the fights and pining and so much love in between.It’s a good hurt/comfort, angst w HE.
