Eddie is, admittedly, maybe not paying attention to where his feet are taking him across the grass when it happens. It’s possible he still has his head craned back over his shoulder to catch one last glimpse of Chris beneath the big white tent he’s been left in. Eddie slams into an immovable object with almost enough force to knock him onto his ass, a hard ridge of some sort hitting him in the gut.
“Ow! Shit!” Eddie hisses at the surprise impact.

The voice has Buck’s heart leaping as he jerks over onto his back, arms forced to be raised over his head by the restraints. He blinks at the shadowed figure leaning against the wall across from the foot of his bed.
“What the hell?” He pants, breath picking up with his heart rate.
“Mmm,” the figure hums and slowly moves into the light.
Buck’s heart stutters, his face dropping into a confused frown when a familiar face is revealed.

Buck’s question has his angel frowning along with him as they both stare past the glass wall of the locker room. Bellamy kind of tunes out Bobby’s reply, gaze fixed on the newcomer. The shimmering silver cord that connects the new guy to Buck is only visible between blinks, at the edge of Bellamy’s vision like the wisps of a dream.
