Crowley deeply regretted agreeing to go to Anathema’s cookout. He was irritated, uncomfortable, at wit’s end, and to add insult to injury... he had no idea why. You’d think after more than 6000 years, Crowley would have already been through every indignity a demonic snake could face! Unfortunately, you’d be wrong.
What was meant to be a relaxing reunion for the group that took on Armageddon quickly devolved into a scramble to deal with the unexpected Serpent issues. They handle it about as well as expected.

“Yohohoho!” And there is Brook, hopping carefully down a pile of trash towards Jinbei, waving a hand back and forth in front of his face. “Ahh, this is a moment I dearly regret my lack of a nose - if only so I could pinch it shut until we find a way out of this place!”
Jinbei frowns, his Observation Haki spreading like ink in water. “Is it truly so large?”
“Miles of detritus, my friend! I could spy mountainous jungles to the south of us, but otherwise, there is only-” Brook’s foot goes straight through an old wagon he attempts to use as his final step to the ground, and the skeleton’s arms spin in circles for a moment before he topples forward. Thankfully Jinbei moves quickly enough to catch his crewmate, and Brook makes a beleaguered noise once both his feet are again upon solid ground. “-ah, trash.”

And between one second and the next, Ace's hair and the front of his clothes are suddenly drenched in alcohol. Sabo's shoulders stiffen where they're pressed against Ace's, and Luffy makes a clear sound of disgust and flicks some of the liquid off his fingers.
The man’s face is red with rage and possibly humiliation, his left eye—the one Luffy hit—squinted, dripping bottle clutched in one hand. "You little shit," he growls, and takes a menacing step forward.
Sabo buries his pipe into his gut.
It all descends from there.

“Sabo shouldn’t be Bound!” Luffy wails. “Sabo should be free!”
“Sabo should be alive,” Ace snaps back, alarmed to find his vision turning blurry with new tears. “But he isn’t, and I’d rather he come back to us instead of getting stuck haunting the bastard who killed him!”
