'Did it hurt?' Lancelot asked thoughtfully, risking a quick glance in Gwen's direction. For her part, she seemed interested but a little unimpressed, and if she thought anything of her beloved following Gwaine's example and getting a tattoo for himself, she offered nothing but a smile.
'Yeah.' Gwaine's honesty was perhaps the most surprising thing, and he pulled a face. 'Like holding your hand too close to a candle-flame.'
'Really? That's odd; Merlin didn't mention that it hurt when he got his, and it's bigger than that.' Gwen took a sip of her drink, indifferent to the ringing silence that followed her pronouncement. Her brown eyes sparkled with mischief, her cheeks dimpling as she smothered a smile and raised an eyebrow at Gwaine.
Arthur discovers Merlin has a tattoo and is overwhelmingly curious about it.
