Summary
His band, being in his band and touring with his band was something that had always brought Calum comfort and stability.
But this tour was different, because having three little kids on Tour changes a lot.
On top of that, this was the first time he was single and on tour in years.Calum was lonely and lost, trying to find his place in life again in the chaos that was the biggest world tour they had ever done and found himself leaning on Ashton more than he ever had before.
And ultimately, Calum was completely blindsided by the avalanche of feelings this new situation triggered.

"Will you play me the last song from the EP?," Calum asked on the way to the airport once the LA traffic slowed them down.
"No."
"That's unfair," Calum whined, "why do I need to wait for the song to be released before I can listen to it with everyone else?"
"Life's unfair," Luke muttered.
Calum scoffed. "I thought screwing a musician earned you special privileges."
"It doesn't," Luke muttered, painted nails still typing away on his phone, "take this from someone who's screwing a musician."
"Why the fuck not?," Calum whined and took the exit sign to LAX.
"Because it's about you," Luke said obnoxiously.
"The whole damn EP is about me," Calum huffed, "What's so special about track seven?"
"You'll know when you hear it," Luke smiled, and before Calum could say anything he added, "on Wednesday when the EP comes out."
