Summary
They always had secrets from John, little and big. At some ages it felt like a catastrophe, certain death by fire for one to be exposed. This fear of discovery was amplified by weapons, a curtain lifted to another world that left them encased in an endless expanse of lies, leaving, and violence. But there were two secrets that bound them together. They grew softly and slowly until one grew so big it couldn't be hidden anymore.
