It’s been minutes but Dean’s been starving for him, deprived of the depth of feeling.
“Hey, Sammy,” Dean says, weak to anything else, and watches the smile on Sam’s face, the way his face looks not contorted by grief like it had in the seconds before Dean had lost consciousness.
“Dean,” Sam says, and isn’t that the goddamn thing? Dean can’t take it a second more, the buzzing under his skin is indomitable.
He reaches forward, and Sam’s already pulling him into a hug.
Or: Sam gets to Heaven, and now they might actually have to get their shit together...

Dean turns around. There’s a kid standing there, looking at Dean, then at the girl. He’s tall—Dean doesn’t often have to tilt his head up to look at people but he can tell he will for this guy—with shaggy brown hair and wide eyes. Dean looks at the blonde girl next to him.
“Sweetheart,” Dean says, raising his eyebrow. “You are way out of this guy’s league.”
Or: After a witch hunt, Dean is cursed to lose his memories of Sam. With Sam gone at Stanford, Dean doesn’t even notice. Sam does, though.

Summary
Sam's point of view as he and Dean go on a hunt at a Florida movie theater where a person has died at every Saturday matinee for a month. They are short on clues leaving them an excessive amount of time to watch movies and drink booze and there's nothing to distract Sam from his increasingly inappropriate thoughts about his brother.
(Per the prompt, this fic contains spilled popcorn and Winchesters clinging together watching a scary movie. As a bonus, this fic also contains Winchesters in various stages of dress and undress in the Florida heat. "Your un-flannelled Kansas ass needs sunscreen.")

Summary
After two vegetarian restaurants, an almost serious usage of the term “buttercup,” and an incident with Dean's mouth pressed against his ear, Sam came to the disorienting conclusion that they were quite possibly dating. Or, more accurately, that Dean was honest-to-god courting him like a modern-day knight in distressed leather armour.
