Summary

Enid’s heart faltered as she got a good look at her.
Wednesday’s braids were a mess, flyaways sticking out all over and clinging to her face. Her… sweaty face. The normally pale complexion was tinged with pink from what could only have been some kind of physical activity.
Enid couldn’t help where her mind went.
OR
Enid can’t figure out why Wednesday is spending so much time with Bianca. Not that it bothers her. At all. She only wants to stick her claws in the siren’s throat and watch the life drain from her eyes. (Oops, maybe she is jealous.)
Wednesday is clueless until it’s spelled out for her… in explicit language.

Wednesday has spent the majority of her vacation denying her feelings because denying feelings is something she excels at but one letter and a handful of texts are all it takes to change that for her. So she invites Enid to come live at the Addams mansion for the rest of the summer, until the school year begins. To escape what is an inhospitable environment at home and to be welcomed into a family that can and will love her the way she deserves.

“And they are…?”
“Dating,” Mobius says, helpfully. “Or, you could call them intertwined. Soul-bound. Hopelessly in love. Whichever resonates with you the most.” And he lists all of these things without a sense of tease to his tone, Loki going so far as to say it’s almost casual how the man says it — as if the whole thing is common knowledge. It makes him inclined to believe that Mobius is not surprised at all.
Granted, they’ve seen weirder things, but…
”You’re not surprised,” Loki points out flatly, his gaze flicking down at the other. “What is this, a common occurrence?”
He doesn’t expect Mobius to nod, chipperly informing him that, “Oh, yeah. Happens in more timelines than you think.”
In which Loki realizes his and Mobius’ alliance is far from the weirdest thing in the universe, which is the weirdest part about it.

Summary
Loki’s eyes were wet, shining with fear, with overwhelm, with… adoration. Frantic emotion written all across his face, quivering through his body and his unsteady limbs.
Mobius couldn’t believe it. He’d come back to the TVA to dismantle it, fully expecting never to see Loki again even as he hoped that wasn’t the case, a tiny voice in the back of his mind constantly chanting he’ll be fine, he’ll be fine.

Summary
Dreams don’t happen in the TVA. Or maybe they do for other people. They do have that nightmare department a few wings away. Dreams have never happened for Mobius, though. It’s a concept he likes to think about sometimes, the idea of closing his eyes and seeing something else behind them while the mind turns off for a few hours to reset. Loki never talked about his dreams, but used to talk about the concept of dreaming to Mobius, describing how it feels in detail. Mobius likes details, he’s always been detail-oriented, so he likes to hear about how it feels like quicksand when you run in a dream and how your brain invents its own set of rules for reality each time you close your eyes. It’s a fun concept.
Whenever Mobius leaves the TVA, takes a trip down to his timeline and avoids the street he lives on, he stays in a run-down hotel, just so that he could say that he did.
He dreams that night.
He wishes he didn’t.
