The words hit Jiang Cheng like shards of glass, Nie Huaisang seemingly oblivious to the way Jiang Cheng’s expression fell. There stood Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, lost in their own world. Wei Wuxian’s hands were all over Lan Wangji, rubbing a layer of sunscreen onto the latter’s back as Lan Wangji stood silently, already red in the face from the heat. Jiang Cheng’s fist clenched as he watched Wei Wuxian’s perpetual chatter fill the space with its clamorous disorganization, at ease even as his hands roamed over Lan Wangji’s abs, his biceps, and chest.
After Wei Wuxian deemed Lan Wangji fit to go, he started to lather himself with the sunscreen as well. Jiang Cheng watched him with scathing eyes, the ugly pit in his stomach growing heavier the longer he watched.

Summary
Dinner ends up being a harrowing affair for Jiang Cheng. As if the anticipation simmering in her gut from Wei Wuxian’s earlier words wasn’t enough, she has to struggle to keep up with the conversation as Wei Wuxian secretly runs a foot up her calf or lays a hand on her knee. It’s not as though they don’t regularly get up to things in their own apartment, but it’s much different here, in their childhood home where they shared all their fumbling firsts, with Wei Wuxian squeezing her knee under the table right in front of Jiang Cheng’s parents, who still have no idea of the exact sort of relationship between the two.
Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng return to the Jiang house for winter break, and it stirs up certain memories and feelings.

Or maybe it's the alcohol that's running through his veins that's speaking. As Okkotsu pulls Toge in close by the waist, his entire body freezes, and Okkotsu tilts his head back with a single finger. His heart is beating so hard, Toge's afraid that Okkotsu might be able to hear it.
Soft lips meet his, and shivers run up his spine as a hand caresses the back of his neck. "Breathe," Okkotsu whispers against his lips, and Toge takes in a sharp inhale at the reminder.
Okkotsu chuckles, sounding amused. The sound is enough to make his legs weak, but Okkotsu's grip on his waist only tightens. "How cute," Okkotsu strokes his cheek before pressing their lips together again, sweet and gentle. "You with me tonight?"
