Summary
“Wow,” Hypnos says, “we get a new brother when we already have so many siblings! Do you think he’ll stay in the Underworld unlike everyone else?”
“He’s the prince,” Thanatos says, “it wouldn’t make sense for him to leave and never come back.”
“Oh yeah, that’s right! Then I hope he’ll stay with us. It’d be real sad for everyone if he ever decided to leave.”
Thanatos doesn’t agree with Hypnos. He’s never minded his other siblings leaving, so why would Zagreus be any different than his other brothers and sisters? Thanatos can’t imagine ever being bothered if Zagreus decides to leave.
It’s difficult, though, for Thanatos to see Zagreus as his brother. Zagreus differs almost entirely from the rest of Nyx's offspring—he glows with life.
