Technoblade’s heart leaps. This is it! The Blood God is granting his wish! After this, things could go back to how they were, and things would be fixed-
“No, I don’t think I will.”
Technoblade’s head shoots up. Surely, he must’ve misheard? He laughs nervously.
“Sorry, I think I misheard, you said-?”
“I said no.”
‘Why?” Technoblade bursts out, with as much forced calm as he could muster. “Why not?”
“Because I can give you something better.”
