His fingertips linger on Ratio’s deliberately as he places the revolver in the doctor’s hand. Aventurine strokes the inside of Ratio’s palm, watching with perverse joy as Ratio shudders almost violently in front of him.
Ratio’s hands are warm underneath Aventurine’s fingers and Aventurine soaks it up eagerly, revelling in how responsive Ratio is, even in the doctor’s obvious confusion. As he moves the barrel of the gun against his own chest, Aventurine wonders if Ratio even knows how much he gives away.
Perhaps the mask has done Ratio no favours and, unused to having to hide his emotions, Ratio is now overly-expressive without it.
Dr. Veritas Ratio is called into a meeting with IPC strategist Aventurine that turns out to be far more entertaining than he had imagined. (Based on the amazingly homoerotic Final Victor light cone art featuring the two of them.) Now with Aventurine's POV.
