Summary
Something is off with Kakyoin. This morning he had seemed fully recovered from whatever fit of paranoia had him accusing a baby of being an enemy--he’d been downright gleeful when they finally deposited the baby safely with a doctor. But by the time they make it to lodging, Kakyoin’s good mood seems to have worn off. Something is off, but Jotaro can’t quite put his finger on it.

Gordon rubbed his free hand over his face and sighed. “Wait, yeah, that’s ridiculous. Benrey stole the kid, didn’t he?”
“...Welllll…” Tommy dragged the word out, and Gordon went cold.
“Wait, did he - did he actually steal a kid? Do we need to call the cops? Tommy, what is going -”
“Mr. Freeman, listen!" Tommy snapped. "It’s Benrey. The kid is...it’s Benrey.”
