Summary
The look thrown his way is furrowed and questioning. Months of living together and Sento's most certainly never interrupted Banjou's routine. Even the stuff they conversed about not too long ago had been after-the-fact, when the hair was already tied and done, nothing more to do on the matter except a little talking and history-revealing.
Maybe he feels a little self-conscious, suddenly, under Banjou's intense eyes, piercing even in the dark. Or maybe he's feeling self-conscious because of what he's about to do- if Banjou will allow it.
Sento clears his throat. "…Let me?"
-or: Banjou does his own hair every morning, much to Sento's surprise at the guy's ability to do anything of the sort at all. But learning of the habit, maybe, makes him want to try something himself…

Yoru balls up his fist anyway, and the crushed snow stings the skin of his exposed fingertips. Just to fight back a little longer, make Sova's life a bit more difficult. "I don't need your help. I can make it back myself."
Sova raises an eyebrow and- oh, it's coming now, that tactful and no less brutal honesty of his.
"Yoru," Sova's pointing out, very respectfully, "You slipped and fell trying to run across 50 meters of snow and ice on both legs."
Yoru, in his infinite wisdom, runs around Icebox in sneakers and sprains an ankle. Sova can only think of one solution.

"Banjou swallows hard. His heart rate speeds up and he takes a deep breath. Idiot genius. Stupid, stupid, stupid beautiful jerk.
'Sento...' His voice is raspy, stuck in his throat from the conflicting emotions he’s experiencing. He’s torn between wanting to hit his idiot genius of a boyfriend over the head and wanting to tackle him and kiss him senseless. 'Are you... Are you trying to ask me what I think you're asking?'"Sento has been more annoyed than usual lately, and Banjou's starting to wonder if he has said or done anything wrong. Before he can confront Sento about it though, Sento reveals what he has been working on in secret all this time... It turns out to be the one thing Banjou would never have expected Sento to give him.

Summary
Not thinking, not even fully aware of what he’s doing, Ryuga finds one rarely-used cabinet, and pulls out some bags of to-go cups that no one ever needs because no one comes here to buy coffee. Behind those, under a messy stack of loose napkins, is a small box he stashed here months ago and then nearly forgot about. He replaces the napkins and the cups, takes a matchbook from a bowl on the counter, and leaves through the front door as quickly as possible, as if he’s afraid someone will catch him.
There’s a set of maintenance stairs around the back of the building, metal and starting to rust, half-hidden by untamed weeds and bushes. Ryuga sits on one of the steps, then pulls a cigarette out of the slightly-squashed box.

His voice is right next to Sento’s ear, and it feels like feathers sliding over his bare skin, around his neck and under his shirt. Sento sucks in a breath through his teeth and doesn’t reply.
