Summary
When the SM-13 is discovered floating through the void of space towards Erid, everyone rushes to recover the ship and its near-dead inhabitant. With open arms, Rocky, Adrian, and the rest of the planet welcome a new human into their care. But Simon isn’t the goofy teacher slash savior of the universe Ryland Grace. He’s uncooperative, heavily damaged, and prone to violent outbursts. The Eridians agree he should be moved elsewhere for his own safety and the safety of others- particularly their precious teacher.
And yet, Ryland Grace refuses to give up on him. No matter how many times he’s pushed away, Grace will keep reaching out. And maybe one day, Simon will reach back.
