Summary
Peter Parker may have been dropped in some Jersey-based hellscape thanks to Dr Strange’s spell, but he was making it work. He was. Okay, reliving his teen years wasn’t on his bingo card, nor was being homeless, but he wasn't homeless for long! He’s been crashing with one of the local heroes. It’s some guy called Red Hood who seems to terrify everyone, which personally he thinks is silly, because this dork is clearly an absolute softy. Despite having the intelligence of an 18 year old tech genius in the body of a homeless 13 year old, and, oh yeah, the whole spider thing, Peter thinks he’s been doing a stellar job of being your run-of-the-mill average homeless teenager.
Jason Todd, on the other hand, is about to have an aneurism. There is a homeless child with his name, Dick's face and Tim's intelligence sleeping in his safe-house. They don’t know where he came from, or how he fights as easy as breathing. He just knows that he’s somehow responsible for this mess now.Jesus fucking christ.

“What’s the date today?” he asked.
Dr. Lamai was clearly taken aback by that, but only for a split second. She regained her composure and answered, “It’s the sixteenth of October, 2024.”
Grace nodded and then asked, “And what was the date yesterday?”
“It was the fifteenth of October, 2024.”
Grace hummed and nodded again. He was pacing. “Well then,” he said, “We have a problem.”
He stopped pacing and turned to look at her. He smoothed a hand through his hair, and fixed his normally terrible posture. He needed to be taken seriously now. “I want you to run every test you can think of on me.” She stared at him. “Please,” he added, as if his lack of manners was the reason she was staring at him and hadn't replied.
“Why?” she asked calmly.
Grace thought for a moment about how to explain it but decided it would sound crazy whichever way he worded it. “Today is the sixteenth right? But so was yesterday. And the day before that. And I’ll bet when I wake up tomorrow, it’ll also be the sixteenth.”

“I… Colt, I am in completely sound mind, okay?” Ryland starts off, obviously prefacing something. “So, when I say something, I know that it-it’s true. I don’t say just anything without—without fact checking. Scientific method and all that.” Ryland is rambling, some of his words high in the back of his throat in a strange, song like fashion, mostly at the end of his sentences. Colt’s body sends him another wave of wrong, wrong, wrong.
Ryland rips off the metaphorical bandaid and the wound is deeper, more grotesque than Colt was ever prepared for. “Okay. So, I was just in interstellar space. On this ship, for years, but I didn’t have enough food for the longest time. I had to have starved to death, right? So, I think I died, because I woke up on Earth.” Colt’s insides plummet down, down, down a cliff—a familiar feeling since he throws himself off actual twenty story buildings daily.
