Summary
Do you think about countries outside of Revachol and start to cry? Do you read fanfiction and see a bit of worldbuilding and wonder if it’s canon or not? Do you go onto FAYDE and see a line and go “how do you even get that line was that true the whole time?” Do you not know how much of Elysium is Fantasy France and you’re too afraid to ask? Well have I got the fic for you!
The worldbuilding of Elysium is complicated, detailed, and often hidden behind skill checks. It is precise and vague and subjective and overwhelming, just like real life. This atlas hopes to streamline and organize the traditional FAYDE search process, clarify details, and note when the real world influences are notable and draw upon that. And wrap it all up in a colloquial bow because otherwise it’d be impossible for me to read my own work without my brain glazing over.Complete with aside breakdowns from the author over subjects such as “oh my god a dormant volcano is taller than two Everests”, “what the fuck is up with tzaraath that’s not how prion diseases work what the fuck”, and “why do I have to learn about time!”

Summary
A month after the tribunal, Kim is finally released from the hospital. And learns that Harry has been left in Martinaise, his fate unknown. He resolves to investigate, for this is what RCM officers do, don't they?
"The lieutenant, presumably, would have looked in every corner for a quiet place to die. Somewhere to watch the sun disappear, to keep warm for the night and then shoot himself in the morning as a ‘thank you’ note to the space that had welcomed and sheltered him. The hypothesis was reasonable, correlating with his observations. He had hoped solving the case would prevent any such eventuality. He had thought he would be there to see to it. There was an absurdity at the center of this, a police car driving away as a successful detective watched it cross the bridge and disappear. He couldn’t make sense of it. That was probably where the numbness came from, more Drouamine than an addict would care for, and the Du Bois special: that urge to say something absurdly communist and then shoot a child in the chest. Summary
Revachol knows Lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi of the RCM, even this far from his usual grounds. The detective is worried; he has not been able to connect with his supposed partner from the 41st Precinct for going on two days now. The detective’s erstwhile partner is upstairs blitzed out of his mind, while Kim Kitsuragi smokes and contemplates a dead man in a tree.
Out on the edges of everything The Pale expands, sparking with stray pieces of the past and the future and the ever-shifting present. Revachol listens. There will be choices to make here, soon, places where the past bleeds into the present into the future. In these times, in these places, the past can carry as much weight as the present. Kim is no exception. He has made his own choices.
