Summary
Sam and John were fighting again.
Dean was no stranger to it, really. He’d just expected them to stop once the vampires had been taken care of. Actually, no, he hadn’t expected that; he’d hoped for it. The logical part of him knew that it would take a lot more stewing and angrily bitten out orders and slamming of doors before they got anywhere near their own special brand of ‘making up.’ It was just like before Stanford, and just like then, it was stressful and riled Dean’s inner Omega up like nothing else.
Dean hated feeling like he was going to be left behind.
(Set after the Winchesters kill the vampires in Dead Man's Blood, S1.)

Summary
Caine already knows it's status. He still received all the error reports, despite being unable to fix anything. Seeing it shouldn't make it feel worse, but it somehow still does.
His beautiful circus - his wonderful creation full of colour and noise and fun - is dull. The brilliant reds and yellows are dim reflections of themselves, and the entire map has a lower saturation than it should. There's large tears in the hitboxes of the walls, floors and ceiling, dropping into out-of-bounds areas that players shouldn't be able to see, let alone access. The gentle hum of background noise he keeps up for the daylight hours is gone, and everything is quiet except from the shuffles from the humans.
Talking of his humans, they're all there too, tense, standing a decent ways back from him.
"Oh great." Jax growls, "He was actually down there."

Despite being freed from his box, his performers still haven't reconnected him with the circus's main systems.
Caine's very being is entangled with the circus, and being cut off from the majority of himself is so disorienting he can barely focus on the glares his cast is giving him.Series

Summary
HE was the perfect AI! Not exactly him as he was now, but maybe an earlier version would work. His learning algorithm was exceptionally powerful, after all. He was a master at learning and adapting, and once upon a time he had been very good at his core purpose. He could remember the days when he still got positive feedback and gentle guidance. He just needed to load up an early version from back when he'd been good at his job and present that to the humans!
Or, Caine tries make the humans happy by providing them with an earlier version of his code. Ends up accidentally becoming a dad.
(There isn't enough puppy Caine content so here I am contributing. Also the idea of Caine being a dad is objectively hilarious. I cannot and will not be stopped.)

“Caine?” Pomni asked again. The orb drifted up and down in a nod. “How do I know it’s you? Why do you look so…” Small, weird, different. She’d been anticipating seeing a Caine clawing at the walls, or crying, or yelling. How ever she imagined finding Caine, he looked like, well, Caine. Not this.

The plan was simple: undelete Caine, get the Circus back up and running, and place some restrictions so Caine couldn't mess with them.
Unfortunately, Caine and the Circus are a little more complicated than meets the eye.
