Ryland makes a half-hearted attempt to climb off the bed and escape, but Tom catches him by the wrist and has a cuff on and buckled before Ry even has a chance to react. He watches, breathing heavily, as Tom attaches the other three cuffs to his ankles and remaining wrist.
